sat07oct10:00Tour Mongui Maduro Museum & LibraryOn the first Saturday of the month, the Mongui Maduro Museum in Landhuis Rooi Catootje, Curaçao, will be hosting a tour led by Sulaika Dambruck and Lianne Leonora. The tour, which begins at 10 AM, will cover the history of the former plantation and the Levy Maduro family, as well as the Mongui Maduro Collection of Judaica and Antilliana. The tour is free with regular museum admission, which costs $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 5-12. Children under 5 are free. To participate, register by 11 AM on the Thursday before the tour by calling +5999 737 51 82 or sending an email to info@maduromuseum.com. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 – 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 & 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲.

At 10 am at Mongui Maduro Museum (Landhuis Rooi Catootje) Sulaika Dambruck will guide you through the history of former plantation Rooi Catootje and the history of 4 generations of the Levy Maduro family. Followed by Lianne Leonora leading the way through Mongui Maduro Library, while expanding on the Mongui Maduro Collection of Judaica and Antilliana and its hidden treasures in the libraries’ depot. Tour ends around 11:30 am.

Note: Regular entrance fee for museum, tour is for free.
